McLain Prize in Classics
The prize was endowed in 1965 by a gift from an anonymous friend of the College and of the Classics. Provides an annual cash award to the member of the senior class whose achievement in Greek and Latin or in the Classics has been most distinguished. The prize honors the memory of Henry Zwingli McLain, a professor of Greek and Secretary of the Faculty, 1874-1907.
