Greg Redding graduated from Wabash College in 1988 with a major in German. In 2002 he returned to his alma mater to teach German in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. His courses cover all levels of German, from beginning language to advanced seminars on topics such as “Viennese Modernism” and “The German Novelle.” His primary research interest is German-American Studies. In addition to his own scholarship in this area, he frequently collaborates with undergraduates on German-American research topics and has co-authored several conference papers with Wabash students. Redding has led a number of immersion trips abroad, most recently an excursion to Vienna with his German 202 class.

Professor Redding lives in Crawfordsville with his wife and twin daughters. In his free time he enjoys exploring Indiana and traveling with his family throughout the United States. He is an avid runner who specializes in ultramarathons ranging from 50 to 100 miles.
