George D. Lovell Award This award is presented annually to a junior or senior who has exhibited significant academic achievement in social studies. This award honors Dr. Lovell, longtime chairman of Division III, chairman of the Psychology Department, and Beesley Distinguished Professor. The recipient is chosen by the Chair of Division III and the Dean of Students.
