Department faculty often have advanced theater students work as summer interns in several areas. Students have worked in cataloging theater equipment, for example, and have conducted research - work that can often lead to credit in publication through acknowledgment by the professor.
Theater majors may spend time studying in New York as part of the Great Lakes Colleges Association New York Arts Program, which is designed to provide students seriously interested in the communication, performing, and visual arts as an opportunity to experience the world of the professional artist.
In addition to the New York Arts Program, Wabash students have participated in many fine arts programs across the U. S. and Europe.
