Join us for a lunchtime information session with our very own Jill Rogers and James Jeffries Jill Rogers and James Jeffries will be presenting information for students interested in Career Test Drives. They will be going over the process in attaining a Career Test Drive in all forms of the working world. Jill will be more focused on the medical fields. James will focus on all things not medical. Career Test Drives are your first step to attaining an Internship or Job. Are you interested in marketing? Finance? Operations? Ministry? Non-profits? Community Conversation: Crawfordsville Public Library Donnelly Room, 7:00PM - 8:30PM
Community Conversation on Substance Abuse in Montgomery County. All residents of Montgomery County are invited to join a Community Conversation on Substance Abuse at the Crawfordsville Public Library. Topic for January 30th is Substance Abuse Treatment Options. Representatives from Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Rainbow Recovery, Wabash Valley Alliance Incorporated, and Celebrate Recovery will describe their efforts and challenges in treating substance abuse.
Each meeting will feature representatives from a range of organizations that are striving to address and/or prevent substance abuse in our county. Time will be provided for audience members to ask questions and interact with the representatives. The third meeting will also include an opportunity for interested community members to form action groups to help solve the problem of substance abuse. IT / Tech Alliance Presentation: Arnold House , 7:15PM - 8:15PM
Learn about careers in IT during an hour long presentation by Career Services. Alliance will be taking a look at the fundamentals of what it means to have a career in the IT field and how you go about it. This program is part of a functional series created by the Schroeder Center for Career Development, the National Association of Wabash Men, and the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men, which organizes alums into "Wabash Career Alliances". The Wabash men who participate in these alliances are willing to help students learn about careers in their field of expertise.
