Sophomore Interviews will be taking place in the Dean of Students’ Office beginning January 14 through March 1, 2013. This is the time when Sophomores will declare their major and minor,
and/or area of concentration, as well as reflect on their Wabash experience thus far. Please stop by Center Hall 115 and sign up for an appointment with Dean Raters.

Chapel Talk: Kim King '99: Chapel , 11:15AM
|
| |
Speaking at Chapel this week will be Wabash Alumnus Kim King with a talk titled "Leaving and Coming Back: Exploring My Second Naïveté." Kim King graduated from Wabash in the spring of 1999 and earned a Masters of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He served in various leadership roles in AME congregations in both Atlanta and Chicago, but left pastoral ministry in 2006 in order to work in higher education. He was first hired at Wabash as the Assistant Director of Admissions in 2008, but left to direct the Office of Admission at the Chicago Theological Seminary in May of 2011. He returned to Wabash this past fall and is currently the Associate Director of Admissions.

Thursday, February 28 at O.B. Clark’s for lunch at 12:00 Noon. O.B. Clark’s is located 1921 S. Brentwood Drive. This is one of the traditional meeting places for our group at lunch time. Just look for some guys wearing red – or ask the wait staff. If you can’t make it out for our evening gatherings, please try to make it for lunch.

Brian Doyle is the editor of Portland Magazine at the University of Portland, in Oregon. He is the author of 13 books, among them the novels Mink River and Cat's Foot, the story collection Bin Laden's Bald Spot, the nonfiction books The Grail and The Wet Engine, and many books of essays and poems.
