Wabash College junior Reynaldo Pachecho is directing the Crawfordsville Vanity Theater production of Noises Off, which opened March 10 and runs through March 19. In addition to Pachecho's direction, four Wabash students are acting in the show.

Performances are scheduled March 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 with an 8:00 p.m. curtain each night. Tickets are $8 and can be pruchased at the Vanity Theater at 122 S. Washington Street or by calling 362-7077.

Joining Pachecho, who is directing his second Vanity Theater production, are fellow Wabash students Andrew Dits, Tyler Bernet, Joey Smith, and Frances Raycroft.

Noises Off was written by Michael Frayn. It's the story of Lloyd Fellowes, who is the director of a theatre company producing a farcical play called Nothing On. Fellowes is desperately trying to get his production together, despite the best efforts of the cast, the crew, and Lady Luck. The audience follows production from final rehearsals, through opening night, and onto the tour. As with any group of actors forced to work closely together for any great length of time, romances and arguments break out. Quite often, what's happening on stage is nothing compared to what's happening backstage.
