The Music Department at Wabash College invite you to attend the Senior
Recital presented by Abraham Lucas on Sunday, April 17, at 4 p.m. in
Salter Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
Lucas will be performing works by a wide variety of classical
composers—Bach, Brahms, Chopin, and Khatchaturian. He'll also be
performing his own jazz arrangement of "Autumn Leaves." The program will
close with the "Tarantella" from Rachmaninoff's "Suite No. 2 for Two
Pianos, opus 17" performed by Abraham and his teacher.
Attending Wabash College on a Lilly Scholarship, Lucas will graduate
this year with a double major in English and History. He is a Fine Arts
Scholar, Presidential Scholar, and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha
fraternity. He is in his 15th year of studying piano, and has played
with the Wabash College Jazz Band and Jazz Improvisation Combo
throughout his time at the College. After graduation, he plans to attend
law school, but will first spend a year traveling.
