The Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies held its first event of the year in celebration of its 40th anniversary. The open house offered an opportunity for the public to learn about the organization and served to recruit new members. The event included food, fellowship, tours of the facilities, music, football, and more. Nearly 75 students, faculty, staff, and families came out in support of the MXIBS and its activities.
