Wabash Hosts Symposium on Lilly Grant

March 18-19, 2005.  Wabash hosted a number of Indiana-based alumni at a symposium designed to outline the College’s efforts with the latest Lilly grant on "Initiatives to Promote Opportunity Through Educations Collaborations".

Alumni returned for a number of informational sessions on the current efforts Wabash has undertaken for the grant.  They also participated in brainstorming sessions designed to seek their advice on improving the College’s efforts given their backgrounds and experiences as Indiana-based businessmen and educators.

The group had the opportunity to hear about the College’s upcoming strategic plan from Deans Mauri Ditzler ’75 (Dean of the College) and Joe Emmick ’92 (Dean for Advancement).  Finally, as the symposium coincided with Honors Weekend, the attendees were able to spend some time with Wabash’s future students.

Many thanks to Lu Hamilton ’76, the Lilly grant administrator in the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, for a very productive weekend.
