Having the Wabash basketball team participate in the CC/Clarion Thanksgiving Classic at Colorado College in Colorado Springs gave alumni and friends far from campus and opportunity to see the Little Giants in action and share some time with the student/athletes.
On the Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving the Little Giants lost a hard fought game to Bethany College (KS) in the opening game of the tournament. Later that evening area alumni joined the traveling party (the team and parents who made trip) at Giuseppe's Old Depot Restaurant near the Colorado College campus for a wonderful dinner. The alumni had an opportunity to converse with the players and coaches allowing each to learn more about the other.
