Juniors Have Busy Summers

Tahir and Zuber Ahmed, India, are participating in the Business Immersion Program at Wabash College.;  Daniel Albrecht, Clinton, In., will be working with Professor Lon Porter on a Chemistry internship.; Benyam Alemneh, will be working with Wabash Alum and CEO of Norcote located in Crawfordsville In..; Devin Bennett, Geneseo, New York, will work as a bus boy at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel located at Yellowstone National Park.; Nic Bitting, Carmel, In., will be working for Alum Geoff Faerber ’98 in Gardiner Montana at the Flying Pig Rafting Company.  Nic will also be working with fellow Wabash Student Nate Eakins.;

Sam Borrelli, Bristol, In., will be working with a private equity firm out of Chicago with Greg Jania '93.; Tony Caldwell, Washington, Ia., will be a research assistant at the Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Pathology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.; Sterling Carter, Flora, In., will be living and working in London this summer.; Cole Chapman, Carthage, In., will be taking English and Meteorology classes at Purdue University this summer.; Joshua Dirig, Huntington, In., will take classes at the IPFW campus.; Andrew Dits, South Bend, In., Paul Heiemann, Glencoe, Ill., and  senior Reynaldo Pacheco, New York,  will be working to film, market, produce, and distribute an independent film written by Reynaldo called Inertia.

Ben Esbaum, Cicero, In., will be working as in intern for Hanapin Marketing in Bloomington, In.,; Donald Feeney, Indianapolis, will be working at the Thorp Awning Company in Indianapolis.; Ben Gann, Bartonville, Ill.,  will be working with the Indiana Repertory Theater in Indianapolis as part of the Know Indiana Program.; Kiel Hanson, Bolingbrook, Ill., has a business internship with the Walgreen’s Corporation.; Adam Kirsch, Indianapolis, has been hired as the Deputy Communications and Policy Director for the Kennedy Prosecutor Campaign in Marion County. 

Kyle Long, Crown Point, In., has in internship with the Center of Inquiry at Wabash Campus investigating the Liberal Arts.; Christopher McNicholas, Lake Forest, Ill., will be interning with James Drury & Partners located in the Hancock Building in Chicago.; Patrick Miller, Springfield, Ill., will be working with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) doing biological fieldwork.; Morgan Nolan, Bedford, In., will be working with the Wabash College Education Department on Campus.; Patrick O’Rourke, Bradford, NH., will be working with Professor James Brown on a Physics internship at Wabash College.;

Jeremy Paul, Evansville, In., will be traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, and California installing furniture at college campuses and military bases.; Braden Pemberton, Carmel, In., will be in Bloomington where he will seek a job as a bartender.; Ryan Pritchard, Britt, Ia., will be working in Chicago with WXRT radio.  He will also be working with Alum Brent Bridwell ’03 at Second City Night Club.; Greg Ridenour, Fort Wayne, In., will be working in his hometown with the highway department.;  Kyle Sell, Woodburn, In., has two internships this summer. The first is as a Camp Counselor at the Kids Across America Christian Camp in Golden. Missouri. The second internship is working with troubled youth at Dunn Associates in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Jeremy Sexton, Muncie, In., with be interning as a journalist at the Journal Review located in Crawfordsville.  He will also be waiting tables at A-Country-Affair.; Ryan Stephens, Zionsville, In., will be interning with a company called Lead America based out of Washington D.C.; Jared Tarney, Fort Wayne, In., will be participating in the Business Immersion Program at Wabash.; Jake Turner, Waynetown, In., will participate in the Business Immersion Program at the College.; Robert Van Kirk, Fort Wayne, In., plans on taking Physics at IPFW.;

Adam Van Zee, Logansport, In., will be working with Wabash Alum Dr. Chris Bojrab ‘89 and his psychiatry office in Indianapolis.; John Zuber, Fort Wayne, In., will be working as an intern for the melting and casting department of Columbia Steel and Dynamics Incorporation.
