Scholar on Mens' Studies to Give Two Lectures

A nationally-recognized scholar in mens studies will give two lectures at Wabash College.

Dr. Harry Brod, an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Humanities at Northern Iowa University, will share his research and opinions. Brod has worked in Gender Studies, Jewish Studies, and the exploration of contemporary moral and political issues.

Brod is conducting research and writing a book on anti-racist white men.

He will speak at 8 p.m. tonight in the Korb Classroom in the Fine Arts Center for a talk titled "The Ethics and Erotics of Sexual Consent."

He will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Baxter 101. His lecture is titled "White Male Identities: Privilege, Pain, and Pride."

Both presentations are free and open to the public.
