Raeburn, Seniors Fired up For Monon Bell

Wabash Football Coach Erik Raeburn and his five senior captains headlined weekly Chapel Thursday firing up the student body, faculty and staff for the 116th Monon Bell Classic.

Senior offensive lineman Skip Tokar, Zionsville, was the first to the microphone followed by former Zionsville teammate and middle linebacker Bryan Watson. Matt Kraft, a Castle graduate from Newbergh, Indiana took his turn. Then quarterback Matt Hudson, Salem, Indiana, completed the players comments.

Head Coach Erik Raeburn gave his second-ever Chapel Talk and reflected on his first two years as Wabash coach heading into his second Bell Game.

The crowd was spirited from the beginning bursting into long and loud applause as Sphinx Club President Will Hoffman went through the morning's speakers.

Wabash Student Senate members had set up tables in front of the Chapel and handed out Monon Bell t-shirts to every student.

Kickoff is in Greencastle at 1:07 p.m. The game is nationally telecast on HDNet.
