Hensley Records Hole In One at Anderson

Freshman golfer Seth Hensley scored a hole in one Sunday in the final round of the Anderson Invitational.

Hensley's drive on the 140-yard, par-three seventh hole at the Anderson Country Club settled into the cup for an ace. He was playing in his first collegiate tournament.

Sam Russell '10 carded the last hole in one by a Wabash golfer. Russell made an ace in the final round of the 2009 DePauw Small College Golf Tournament at the Deer Creek Golf Club.

Hensley (above left) went on to shoot an 86 for the round, giving him a two-day total of 171.

Senior Luke Moton led the Little Giant team, shooting a 152 for the event. Moton shot a 73 on the final day after scoring a 79 on day one. Charlie Kelly finished with a 159 (75-84), while Jordan Koch fired a 165 (85-80). Jake German completed the team scoring with a 168 (87-81).

Wabash finished 11th out of 13 teams with a total of 642 strokes.

The Little Giants return to action this weekend, playing in the Franklin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
