Rolling Hills Country Club in Newburgh, IN was host again this year for the 14th Annual Evansville Association of Wabash Men Golf Outing.
The oppressive heat and humidity from the summer 2011 gave way just in time for the alumni, students, family, and friends who came out for this always enjoyable event. Sunshine and low 80 degree temps was welcomed by those who have endured rounds in the mid to upper 90's while dodging strong storms in previous years.
Overall scores were pretty close amongst all teams, but the group of Dan Emerson '98, Scott Schroeder '99, and Conor O'Daniel '93 were able to put together the best round of the day and came out on top. They'll have to be sure and come back next year (Second Thursday in August) to defend the title.
Thanks to Kyle Rapp '95 and Rick Roop for handling to local organizational duties. Your support of Wabash through the Evansville regional association and this annual event is much appreciated.
