Wabash head football coach Erik Raeburn was honored by the Western Pennsylvania Association of Wabash College Men as "Man of the Year" at its annual spring dinner on Friday, April 13.
The Allegheny HYP Club served as the host venue for the event as it has for several years now. Many thanks to primary event organizer Lyndall Huggler '83, who welcomed everyone and updated the crowd on the current recipient of the endowed scholarship supported by the western PA alumni and friends. Thanks also to Eriks Janelsins '02 for a fantastic introduction of Coach Raeburn and to Bob Smith for presenting the customary gift.
Raeburn spoke about the conference championship, Monon Bell victory and playoff run from last season, but also provided a glimpse into what to expect next season. Of course there were many questions for coach as well including one asking about the decision to go for two and the win in the playoff game against North Central College.
