Work hasn't stopped just because the cold and snow of winter has arrived. This crew was completing work on the gutters around the top of the third base dugout Monday morning.

Work has also begun on the Mud Hollow portion of the outdoor field renovation project. This is what remains of the hill beside the Lambda Chi Alpha yard along the left field line of the former baseball field.

This mound of dirt will be used to help level out the field at Mud Hollow. This is about the area where the center of the new soccer pitch will be located.

Drain pipes and other items are lined up, waiting for better weather when the bulk of the work on the new soccer stadium, and the practice and intramural fields will begin.

The Wabash soccer team would have to play around some pretty big obstacles that currently sit where the old field was located. Work continues as weather permits on the field renovations that will be completed by fall 2011.
