Fun Run
58 alumni and spouses turned out bright and early for the Big Bash Fun Run and Walk on J. Owen Huntsman Track. All "competitors" received a Fun Run T-shirt.
74 Fun Runners
Kurt Homann, Paul Tipps, and Jeff Birk, all members of the Class of 1974, got up to take part in the Fun Run.
No Contest
John Burrell ’69 ran away with the Fun Run title, turning four miles in just over 26 minutes.
Mike Medler
Mike Medler ’74, who runs the Indiana State Police Crime Lab, gave a colloquium talk on changes in the criminal justice system.
Moak
Richard Moak ’69, who just retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, talked about the state of affairs in the criminal justice system in LA County.
Old Pot
The freshman pot dates to 1950, but sure looked good during the Class of 1954's performance at the first ever Alumni Chapel Sing.
1954 Singing
The Class of 1954 wore snappy red bow ties and Wabash Big Bash Reunion baseball caps, and belted out two verses of Old Wabash to delight the crowd.
54s secret
If you got behind the Class of 1954, you relealized that verse two of Old Wabash was printed on the back. Sneaky, but creative.
1969 Singing
The Class of 1969 didn't know the second verse, but they were loud and proud in the first ever Alumni Chapel Sing competition.
Picnic-1
After the Alumni Chapel Sing, nearly 300 alumni and spouses enjoyed a casual picnic lunch under blue skies and cool, seasonal temperatures.

It was picnic time on the Mall -- jerk chicken and pork, beans, and potato salad.
