On Friday night in Salter Hall, Wabash junior art major Tian Tian performed a recital of the works of Frederic Chopin in honor of the composer who has been one of the most important influences on his life.

"This year is the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth and the 12th year that I have been performing his music," Tian wrote in the program notes. "As one of his most loyal admirers, I present this Chopin recital to commemorate the 'piano poet' of my heart."
