Ron Bowerman worked for Campus Services for 29 years and ran the store room, among many other jobs at the College. Bowerman took a moment to thank those gathered and to express his love for the College and the people he worked with. Photos by Steve Charles H’70 and John Zimmerman H’67

Bowerman accepts the thanks of President White for this 29 years of service to the College. Wabash CFO Larry Griffith said of Bowerman, "“Ron enjoyed his interaction with the students and staff during his employment at Wabash College and will be remembered for his colorful stories by all.”

Professor of Biology Dave Krohne retires this year after 30 years of teaching Wabash students and helping to strengthen the biology department. Professor of Biology David Polley said, “I think that all of us have come to know Dave through his photography and essays that have appeared in Wabash Magazine. Some of us have known him as a both friend and colleague, and we have enjoyed and benefited from our conversations with him about science and teaching. But the really lucky ones are his students, because they have known him as their teacher.”

Marcia Labbe served Wabash as administrative assistant for both Teacher's Education and the Social Sciences (and, for a while, both at once!). Arriving in 1987, she served the College for 22 years. Professor of Teacher Education Michele Pittard said, “Serving as administrative support for two divisions over her tenure, Marcia brought to her job professionalism, commitment, loyalty to the College and a good sense of humor. Marcia was well-respected for her expertise and straightforward approach.”

Associate Director of Admissions Mike Reidy is congratulated by President White on his retirement after 31 years of service. Dean of Admissions Steve Klein said, "“In our 13 years together Mike has generated 2,768 applications which have resulted in 549 young men enrolling at the College. Mike may have recruited in every territory and performed every office duty available.”
