2010 Big Bash Banquet

President White accepts the 50th reunion gift to the College from Class Agent Charlie Quillin, Reunion Chair Dick Kite, and Reunion Gift Campaign Chair John Bachmann. The Class of 1960 had a goal of raising $2.2 million in celebration of their golden reunion, but surpassed that goal in grand fashion.

50th Reunion Chair Dick Kite was the first to receive his reunion medallion from President Pat White.

Long-time Class Agent for the Class of 1960, Charlie Quillin, received his medallion from President White, then introduced each member of his class who had returned for Big Bash.

Jack Campbell ’60 likely gets the award for traveling the farthest to attend Big Bash. Jack came all the way from his home in France to take part in his 50th class reunion.

Omar Robinson ’60 was proud to receive his 50th reunion medallion from President White. Omar had other reasons to be proud, too. His brewery, Sun King Brewery, which he founded with his son, Clay ’97, provided one of the "official beers of Big Bash."

Betsy Carr should get a special award at Big Bash. She celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary with Kyle (Class Agent for 1985) by attending the Big Bash Banquet.

Director of Alumni and Parent Relations Tom Runge ’71 shows President White his dancing moves just prior to the presentation of the 50th reunion medallions. The mood of the Big Bash Banquet was light and festive from start to finish!

Not exactly an "out take," but we especially liked the expression on Dick Kite's face as he, John Bachmann, and Charlie Quillin presented President White with a whopper 50th reunion gift check.

We're not exactly sure what Dick Kite ’60 said to Alumni Director Tom Runge ’71, but we suspect he was beginning to bribe Runge, who serves as chief judge of the Alumni Chapel Sing competition.
