Professor Martin Madsen taught Physics 104 on the physics of acoustics and music alongside Music 202 combining fine arts and science in the two courses. As part of the team teaching between he and Professor Makubuya, Madsen built a shakuhaci. Here he explains how sound is made using his instrument.
