Van Duyn's Gem Splits Denison Series
Freshman Brian Van Duyn scattered eight hits over six innings and reliever Keegan Leckrone picked up his second save in the Little Giants' 2-1 win over Denison in game two Sunday afternoon at Mud Hollow Field. Wabash lost game one 4-0 to split the overall series with the Big Red at two games a piece.

Coggins' First Homer Gives Wabash Split
Freshman Tanner Coggins belted a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning in Saturday's opening game between Wabash and Denison to give the Little Giants a 6-5 victory. Wabash managed just one hit in game two to fall 3-1, splitting the Saturday doubleheader.

Wabash took two victories in Springfield, Ohio Saturday, defeating the host Wittenberg University Tigers 7-2 in North Coast Athletic Conference action in the first match. The Little Giants followed with a 6-3 win over Cedarville University in the afternoon.

Einterz, Cross Country Team Recognized for Classroom Success
The Wabash cross country team was honored by the US Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association for having the eighth-best team grade point average in the country this season. Freshman Seth Einterz was also recognized as a member of the Coaches' All-Academic Team.

Pelak and Waldon Combine for Tournament Win
Freshman Will Pelak and junior Ryan Waldon took an 8-5 victory in the championship match of third doubles Sunday afternoon in the 2008 Kerry Seward Memorial Tennis Tournament at Wabash College. Pelak added a second place finish at number one singles, while juniors Jay Horrey and Sean Clerget took second place at second doubles. Wabash finished fourth out of eight teams in the tourney.

Dodaro's Blast Gives Wabash Series Win over Case
Matt Dodaro's two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning powered Wabash to a 6-5 victory in the Little Giants' second game Sunday afternoon against Case Western Reserve University. Dodaro hit a solo shot in team's 8-6 win in game one for a 3-1 series win against the Spartans.
