Recycling | ECC

Recycling initiatives at Wabash College include the following:

Office Recycling
Each office is equipped with a recycling container (typically BLUE with a CLEAR bag). Paper, plastics, aluminum cans are all acceptable.  See a complete list here.

Technotrash
IT Services provides Greendisk Technotrash Cans in the basement of Baxter Hall (outside Baxter 26) for recycling electronic media, printer cartridges, old cell phones, and small electronics devices. Learn more

Book and Magazine Recycling
Drop off unwanted books and magazines at Lilly Library. Items will be added to the library collection if needed. Otherwise, if the book is in good shape, it will be offered on a "help yourself" cart or the public library book sale. Items in poor condition will be recycled.

Community Computer Recycle Day
IT Services sponsors an annual Crawfordsville community computer recycle day -- this year on October 11, 2008.  Members of the greater Crawfordsville community can drop off computers, monitors, printers, and related devices at no charge.  Items will be collected and recycled by RecycleForce of Indianapolis.  See a story and pictures from our October 2007 recycle day here.
