All Wabash dormitory and fraternity rooms have high-speed network access for connection to the campus network and the Internet. For details, see our WABnet Overview (PDF).
The Help Desk
Having trouble connecting to WABnet? Help is only a phone call away. Call the Help Desk at x6400, 8am-noon and 1-4:30pm, M-F. Please call from your room, so that we can help you best.
WABnet Connection Cables
You must use a network cable to connect your computer to WABnet -- a phone cord will not work. The bookstore also stocks network cables in various lengths.
Network (Etherent) Card
Your computer will need an ethernet network card to connect to WABnet -- modems are not compatible with WABnet. Most computers have a built-in network card. If yours doesn't, you can purchase network cards for most computers at Staples in Crawfordsville, or contact your computer's manufacturer.
