Malcolm X Institute The new MALCOLM X INSTITUTE OF BLACK STUDIES was dedicated on November 2, 2002 and is located on Harry Freedman Place, just behind the library. The original institute was dedicated in 1970 and promotes educational, cultural, and social programs of concern to the citizens of Wabash College and Crawfordsville. It is also home to the KQ&K Mentoring Program in which Wabash students tutor and mentor local school-aged youths. Visit the student-run Malcolm X Institute web site.
