In Twelfth Night, or What You Will, Shakespeare completed a series of mature romantic comedies that include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, and As You Like It. Twelfth Night is a play of great charm and subtlety in which presumptuousness and indulgence temporarily threaten the joyous triumph of love.
