Moerlein Lager House does not have a dedicated parking facility. The most convenient parking location is the Central Riverfront Garage located beneath the restaurant. Use the Mehring Way West entrance. From 2nd Street, turn right on Joe Nuxhall Way, take Nuxhall until it dead ends into Mehring Way. Take a right on Mehring Way and another right into the parking garage. Once in the garage take another right and follow signs to the Restaurant. This will lead you to the stairs and elevator leading to the Moerlein Lager House front entrance.

A troupe of free African-American actors mounted a Shakespeare production that attained minor critical and financial success until a larger white company, the Park Theatre, connived to shut it down to prevent competition. The African Company Presents Richard III premiered at Penumbra Theatre Company of St. Paul, MN in 1987
