CREATIONISM V. EVOLUTION: A WORLDVIEW CONFLICT Presented by Dr. Stephen Flink, MD, Class of 1972 Hosted by the Wabash Society for the Furthering of the Liberal Arts What: A presentation on the topic of Creationism as seen from a Biblical perspective Have you ever wondered just what in the world Creationism is, or perhaps how anyone could take it seriously? Dr. Flink presents a compelling argument questioning the theory of Evolution using measurable scientific evidence. Dr. Flink graduated from Wabash College in 1972 with a major in Chemistry, and he graduated from the IU School of Medicine in 1977. After completing his residency, Flink worked his own private practice for 10 years and in the Cardiology Department for Hancock Regional Hospital. Currently Dr. Flink works in internal medicine with Anderson Family Practice, focusing on adult medicine. Dr. Flink will discuss the following: -The role of worldviews in the creation v. evolution conflict -Is this a science v. religion debate? -Does the scientific evidence including the fossil record support evolution? -Why does it matter? There will be a Q&A Session after the presentation. You are highly encouraged to bring a pen and paper for notes and to keep track of any and all questions you may have during the talk. So come ready for a lively talk by one of Wabash’s own.
