Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry--OrganicDate Posted: 01/09/17
The Wabash College Chemistry Department invites applications for a one-year visiting position in organic chemistry at the assistant professor level to begin July 1, 2017. Undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry are required. The teaching assignment of approximately 12 contact hours per semester will consist primarily of courses in organic chemistry. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. The Chemistry Department is ACS certified, has six full-time faculty, and excellent facilities, instrumentation, and support for undergraduate research.
