Johnson '76 What event of the 20th century had the most significant impact on your profession? I would not say any one event of the 20th century had an impact on my profession. I would say that censorship, whether political or moral, has always felt its way and will always feel its way into the conscience of mankind and art. Personally, what is the most meaningful life lesson you have taken from your vocation or avocation? In your experience, what is the greatest misconception the public has about your vocation (or field of study) or the people in that vocation? I've tried to grasp the balance between the honesty of my music and compassion towards others. What mentor(s) have had the most significant impact on your life? Can you describe how that person affected your life? All people have an impact on my life, especially the people I love. In your experience, what is the greatest misconception the public has about your vocation (or field of study) or the people in that vocation?
