I was loading film into my camera so I could have a developing test roll for my photography class when my fraternity brother, Pete Speziale, walked into my room to talk to me. After a couple of minutes I looked up and saw him lying down with his dog. What caught my eye was not only the man and the animal sleeping but also the way that the light came in through the window. In a way the image seemed almost angelic.
