Third Coast Percussion Performs Wednesday

Wabash College’s Visiting Artists Series presents Third Coast Percussion at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Salter Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.

Hailed by The New Yorker as “vibrant” and “superb,” Third Coast Percussion explores and expands the sonic possibilities of the percussion repertoire, delivering engaging performances for audiences of all kinds. Since its formation in 2005, the ensemble has gained national attention with concerts and recordings that meld the energy of rock music with the precision and nuance of classical chamber works. TCP holds the position of Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Notre Dame. Its members earned degrees in music performance from Northwestern, Yale, Eastman, the New England Conservatory, and Rutgers.

Seating for Visiting Artists Series events will be by general admission, though free tickets are required.
