Wabash Graduate Voted Indiana Super Lawyer

Christopher J. Braun ’81, a partner at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun in Indianapolis, was voted by his peers as a 2004 Indiana Super Lawyer - the top five percent of lawyers in Indiana. The current list of Super Lawyers will be featured in Indianapolis Monthly and Indiana Super Lawyers Magazine. Braun has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America for three years in a row (the latest being the 2003-2004 edition).

Braun received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1984 and his B.A. from Wabash College in 1981. He has been a partner at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun since 1994. Before becoming a partner at Plews, Braun was a partner at Baker & Daniels in Indianapolis, an associate at Travis & Gooch in Washington, D.C., and an associate at Baker & Boots in Washington, D.C.

Braun is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He is also a member of the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men Board of Directors and he is Chairman of the Blessed Theodore Guerin Catholic High School of Hamilton County Building Committee.

Braun is a frequent author of articles on environmental law and lectures at seminars on the same topic. Plews Shadley Racher & Braun is the largest environmental law firm in Indiana with offices in Indianapolis and South Bend.
