Wabash Picked Third in NCAC Preseason Football Polls

The media and coaches both picked Wabash College to finish third in conference play in the 2004 football preseason poll, announced Wednesday at the annual North Coast Athletic Conference Media Day in Granville, Ohio.

Wabash picked up 85 points and three first-place votes in the coaches poll. The Little Giants finished with 213 points in the media poll. Wabash finished the 2003 season with a 7-3 record, going 5-2 in league play to finish in a tie for second place.

Wittenberg was picked to finish first in the NCAC in the media poll, earning 241 points and 11 first-place votes. Wooster was the favorite of the coaches, earning 92 points and five first-place votes.

Wabash opens the 2004 season on Saturday, September 11 at Kalamazoo College in Michigan.
