Rutherford Named Chairman of Libertarian Party of Indiana

Mark W. Rutherford ’82, an attorney with Laudig George Rutherford & Sipes of Indianapolis, Indiana, was recently re-elected chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana for a two-year term at the party’s annual convention in Clarksville, Indiana. Rutherford has served as chair since 2000.

A history major while attending Wabash, Rutherford was a member of the Sphinx Club, tennis team, and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He received his law degree in 1986 from Valparaiso University.

The Libertarian Party of Indiana is the fastest growing and most active third party in the United States. The Libertarian Party of Indiana has automatic ballot access in Indiana, and runs candidates at the local, state and federal levels.
