Student Life Photo Contest Eligibility

The Public Affairs Office at Wabash College is hosting a photography contest to capture "student life" at Wabash. Photographs will be used in marketing material for the College such as on the website and in admissions publications.

Eligibility: The contest is open to all current Wabash College students.

Rules: Submissions should be digital. Entries will not be returned. Simple levels adjustments such as brightness and contrast are acceptable. All photographs must be taken and owned by the entrant. There is no limit to the number of entries a student can submit.

Publication and Display:By submitting photographs for this contest, each entrant grants Wabash College a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute his entry, in whole or in part, without compensation. Entrants will retain the right to use entries for their own purposes. The photographer will receive credit for the image when possible.

Judging: Contest jurors will include Wabash College staff and alumni. The Public Affairs Office reserves the right to disqualify entries that are deemed inappropriate. Winners will be announced on or before May 1, 2009.

Prizes: First prize - $100 Wabash College Bookstore gift card; Second prize - $50 Wabash College gift card; Third prize - $25 Wabash College Bookstore gift card.

How to Enter

Entries should be submitted in digital format. The photos must be in JPG or TIF format, high resolution, not to exceed 7MB per photo. Include name, living unit, phone number, e-mail address and brief description of photo with entry.

Mail or Drop-off: Submit entries on CD to Kim Johnson in the Public Affairs Office, located on the second floor of Kane House.

Contest Deadline: All entries must be received by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
