Social Networking, Sports Marketing Speaker to Visit

Wabash men interested in sports marketing or professional social networking should mark Thursday, Jan. 28 on their calendars now.

The Wabash L.E.A.D. Program (Linking Education and Alumni Development) will present Lewis Howes, the founder of Sports Networker and author of LinkedWorking: Generating Success on the World’s Largest Professional Networking Website.
Howes will speak at noon in Hays 104 on sports networking and then again at 7 p.m. in the Korb Classroom. The title of his talk will be “Personal Branding on Social networking.”
Howes was a two-sport collegiate athlete and NCAA All-Division Record holder for 418 receiving yards in a single football game. He is a graduate of Principia College with a degree in Sports Management. He works with a number of sports companies and pro athletes with social media.
He also travels extensively speaking about social media and branding. He speaks on college campuses across the country.
