The Little Giant tennis team completed its series of competition in Puerto Rico Thursday evening with a 6-3 loss against the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez team.
The Wabash doubles team of Ian Leonard and Evan Bayless scored a 9-7 victory in the third flight. Leonard was also a winner at number six singles, claiming a 6-2, 6-1 straight sets victory. Ricky Ritter added the only other win for the Little Giants with a 6-1, 7-6 (2) score at fifth singles.
The Little Giant players will spend Friday touring the island before returning home for their next home match against Rose-Hulman on Wednesday.
