Ambrosio Adds Another NCAC Award

Wabash junior Daniel Ambrosio has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, marking the second time this season he has received the award from the conference coaches.
Ambrosio earned the award after winning the javelin throw event at Saturday's Miami University (OH) Invitational. His winning throw of 55.91 meters (183 feet, 5 inches) was the best among the 25 competitors in the event, and was his best throw of the year. Ambrosio is competing in the javelin for the first time this season, but has already set the best mark among NCAC athletes this year and is within four meters of the NCAA Division III Championship provisional qualifying mark of 58.90 meters.
Ambrosio received the Field Athlete of Week Award for the first time on March 28 after winning the javelin throw at the YellowJacket Invitational, hosted by Cedarville University, with a throw of 53.60 meters (175 feet, 10 inches).
