Rising country star Clayton Anderson is set to perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Chadwick Court.

Will call will open at 6 pm with general ticket sales and doors opening for the show at 7 pm.  The opening act, Blair’s West, will take the stage at 8 pm.  Wabash students receive free admission with a valid student I.D., and guests will be charged $10 online or at the door.

Anderson performed at Beta Theta Pi fraternity last spring through the connection Student Senate President Alex Robbins has with the artist.  After last spring’s successful show, the Senior Council managed to bring Anderson  back for a bigger show this fall.

Anderson, originally from Bedford, IN, got his start at Indiana University.  Since then he has opened for country music stars Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, and popular music’s Jimmy Buffett.  Anderson’s first album "Torn Jeans and Tailgates" reached No. 7 on the country charts for sales and was the only independent album in the top 100 at the time.

Later in October Anderson and his band will play on the Blake Shelton Cruise which is a seven day cruise in October on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
