Italy Alumni Trip - Montalcino & Pienza

Our first stop in the country was at a 12th century Benedictine monastery. We were there for the third prayer of the day and Mass. The monastery currently houses a group of approximately ten monks.

Before entering the monastery, we enjoyed a light breakfast while Bill explained what we would be seeing and hearing during the Mass.
