An updated view of the field Thursday morning.
The drainage tile that is put underneath the gravel. Spread across the field at 1% grade, these small passages provide access for rainwater to drain to the sidelines.

The foundation for the scoreboard is now poured and ready for installation.
Project manager Mike Stolle (pictured at left) and his crew have been working nonstop to prepare the field for turf installation. There were over 30 workers Thursday morning at the site.

The crew must manually spread gravel in some smaller areas, such as between the track and the pole vault runway. Heavy machinery will spread the gravel across the open field.
Busy at work. The crew will work through the weekend to ensure that everything is ready for turf installation next week. Check back as we show the progress.
