Wabash Soccer vs. Holy Cross — 08-30-08
With less than a minute to play in the first half — and only a minute
after he had scored on a penalty kick — freshman Austin Jennings takes a
picture-perfect pass from rookie Josh Pederson to score and put Wabash
up 3-0 at the break.
Rookie Josh Pedersen broke free of a defender, spotted his teammate Austin Jennings, and made a perfect assist to give Wabash its 3-0 halftime lead.
After going up 1-0 early, Wabash had a series of near-miss shots on
goals, including this shot by Austin Jennings, which the Holy Cross
keeper knocked away.

With the score 1-0 after Wabash's early goal, Austin Jennings looks to
make it 2-0, but gets roughed up in the process.
Rookie Dylan Andrew thought for sure this shot from the right side and
about 20 yards out was headed for the goal, but the Holy Cross keeper
knocked it away.
Austin Jennings made it 2-0 for Wabash with less than two minutes
remaining in the first half when he drilled a penalty kick in the right
corner of the net.
