Matt '05 and Julia Tanney will give an additional $250 to support our incredible Wabash scholar-athletes when this challenge reaches 25 gifts.

The Bachelor has been the student voice of Wabash since 1908. When this challenge reaches 82 gifts, Rob '92 and Leigh Rudicel P’19 ’20, Chris Rowland '94, Adam Alexander '16, Managing Editor Alex Rotaru '22, and Scott Dreher '82 and Aimee Cox will contribute a combined $1,500. All donors to this challenge are entered in a drawing to receive one of ten front pages from the March 26, 1982 edition commemorating the NCAA DivIII National Basketball Champs and signed by Coach Mac Petty H'82, Pete Metzelaars '82, and Mike Holcomb '84. Any new donor who gives $100 or more to this challenge will receive a copy of John Kerezy's book Glory Reborn: A History of Wabash College and its Athletics from 1977 to 1982.

Mike Axel '89, Justin Vander Iest ’06, and Coach Jake Martin '03 are ready to drive in the walk-off run. Their #GiantShoulders will match every gift to this challenge up to $6,100.

Showing teamwork, class, and talent on and off the court, the 2021-22 Little Giants made us all proud! To provide an assist, Head Coach Kyle Brumett, Ryan Stephens '07, Chase Haltom '10, Derek Bailey '12, Brian Shelbourne '12, Colten Craigin '13, Matt Kaczkowski '13, AJ Sutherlin '13, Kasey Oetting '15, Marcus Kammrath '16, Dan Purvlicis '16, and Dalton Vachon '19 will give $7,500 when alumni, parents, students, and supporters of Wabash basketball make 100 gifts to this challenge. 

Tau Chapter has endured since 1846 because of the #GiantShoulders of our brothers and our families. Those listed below challenge their fellow brothers, sweethearts, and family members to give to Wabash today. When this challenge reaches 100 gifts, Derick Busenbark ’03, John Castro ’97, Adam Collins ’02, Ross Dillard ’07, Stephen Fenton ’15, Jake German ’11, Eric Schoettle ’93, and Matt ’08 and Kay Olivarez will collectively give $6,800. And when this challenge reaches 176 gifts, Chuck and Mary Hansen, though the Evan R. Hansen Legacy Foundation, will give $3,200 to support off-campus learning experiences for Betas and other Wabash students.

In tribute to the #GiantShoulders “The Big Cookie” has provided to Wabash students, athletics, and fans for many decades, Chris Braun ’81 honors Rem Johnston ’55 by matching the first $100 of any gift to this challenge up to $7,500.

Today, Chicago is the City of #GiantShoulders! Chad Cleaver '00 and Jeff Sostak ’06 will match the first $3,000 worth of gifts made by Chicago-area alumni, families, and friends to this challenge.

No matter the sport, for 32 years T.D. "Chick" Clements H'77 always lent his #GiantShoulders to help student-athletes and coaches to reach their potential. He's always been Some Little Giant, and in tribute, Chris Braun ’81 will match the first $100 of any gift to this challenge up to $7,500.

Damus ut detis. Dan Emerson '98, Allen Yow '86, and Jeremy Walker '92 give so that others give. They'll match each dollar given to this challenge up to $6,000. 

The Class of '69 established the Dean Moore Scholarship Fund in 2014 to assist students of need. Recognizing the #GiantShoulders of Norman Moore, who served as the Wabash Dean of Students from 1955 to 1984, the class has set up a pledge pool to match any dollar given to this challenge up to $400. Since 2014, the Dean Moore Scholarship has assisted two to four students each year for their tuition.

The English Department stands on the #GiantShoulders of legendary professors and the students they taught. Each person making a gift to this challenge will receive a signed copy of Dr. Derek Mong's poem "The Glass Eye," which he read at President Scott Feller's Inauguration last fall.

Wayne Hentrup ’84, Todd Shellenbarger ’87, Conor O'Daniel ’93, Dr. Kyle Rapp ’95, Joe Hisch ’02, and Brandon Roop ’06 challenge Evansville and Jasper-area alumni to make 38 gifts to this challenge, at which point they’ll give $2,000 for #GiantShoulders.

In honor of the tireless efforts of our faculty and staff who provide #GiantShoulders for Wabash students, Drs. Jill Lamberton and Jeremy Hartnett '96, Dean Todd McDorman, Dean Michelle Janssen, Dr. Shamira Gelbman, and Joe Klen '97 challenge our colleagues to make a gift on this, our ninth Day of Giving. When this challenge reaches 90 gifts, they'll add $1,450.

A group of Phi Gam alums have pledged $3,550 when FIJI brothers, partners, families, and friends make 350 gifts to this challenge. "College, Fraternity, Self" reminds us that we stand tall on the shoulders of our Brothers who came before us. 

#GiantShoulders built Little Giant Stadium and filled it when we brought the Bell home. To honor our storied program, Brad Boas ’06, Mike Warren '93, Head Coach Don Morel, Offensive Line Coach Olmy Olmstead ’04, Stu Johnson '04, Brandon Roop '06, and Austin Hodges ’13 will give $3,050 when this challenge reaches 200 gifts.

Glee Club members, family, and friends, join in the chorus with 80 gifts on 4.19. Ivan Green '69 and Richard Bowen and will provide accompaniment to the tune of $2,300.

The Global Health Initiative (GHI) provides important opportunities for Wabash students to engage in experiential learning through local, regional, and international public health partnerships. To provide #GiantShoulders for this important work, Steve '67 and Linda Claffey, Dr. Tim Hodges '83, Dr. Jay Herrmann '87, Dr. Frank Kolisek '82, and Dr. Todd Vogel '04, Dr. Todd Rowland '85, Dr. Josh Robinson '97, Dr. Charlie Shrode '03, Chris Amidon R.N., and Dr. John Roberts '83 will match up to $14,100 when gifts include the GHI code.

To honor Coach Josh Hill's inaugural season, Jake German '11 and Nick Sommer ’15 will give $10 for each gift made to this challenge up to $500.

The Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men has long provided #GiantShoulders to our highest concentration of alumni and Wabash students, faculty, staff, parents, and families. The IAWM will match dollars to this challenge up to $2,000. Meet us after work at Sun King Fishers! Update: Séamus Boyce '03 will add $400 when this challenge exceeds $2,000.

Whether you lived on campus in a dorm or off campus in a house, in the DOG House or in the newly named Class of '66 Lodge, Beau Browning '05, Dr. Taimur Baig '94, Joe Pieters '89, and Matt Vessely '91 are challenging Independent Men. They'll match the first $2,100 given to this challenge.

When 50 Kappa Sig Brothers, families, and friends provide their #GiantShoulders for Wabash, Lee Hargitt ’88, Tom Welch '94, and Bill Fell ’75 will collectively give $1,700. When this challenge reaches 75 gifts, Ivan Green ’69 will add $2,000. And when we reach 100 gifts, Jack Littrell '94, will give $2,500.

In support of Coach Chris Burke's first season, Jim '83 and Susan Dyer and Bruce McGar '72 will give $20 for every gift to this challenge up to $600. 

Lambda Chi Alpha's alumni and parent leaders challenge all Alpha Kappa Zeta brothers, family, and friends to provide #GiantShoulders on 4.19. When this challenge reaches 100 gifts, the Lambda Chi Alpha at Wabash College Alumni Association Board and David Miller P’05 will give $2,000. When we reach 200 gifts, they'll add $3,000. And at 300 gifts, they'll give an additional $5,000. The board includes James Vachon, Ted Grossnickle '73, Mike Laudick '82, Tom Jeffers '84, Greg Estell '85, Sean Royce '86, Joe Folkening '88, Joe Emmick '92, Steve Marcou '93, Andy Rankin '98, Ben Seib '02, Tony Unfried '03 and Kyle Coffey '06.

Jason Hand '94 and Nick Schenkel '15 challenge all current and former residents of Martindale, their friends, and families to provide #GiantShoulders for Wabash students. Together, they'll match dollars given to this challenge up to $2,000.

All of us have shouldered quite a burden over the past few years. That's why Associate Director of Regional Admissions Tyler Wade ’12 asks all alumni, students, families, and friends to make a gift today and show your support in raising awareness for mental health at Wabash. When this challenge beats last year's total of 64 gifts, T. Wade will give $419 to provide #GiantShoulders for others on campus. 

This weekend, the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies celebrates more than 50 years of raising our voice and awareness on campus and in the community. Today, the MXIBS members stand proudly on the #GiantShoulders of our founders, who blazed a trail and sacrificed more than tongue can tell to provide the opportunities we experience today. In recognition of their tireless devotion, when we reach 50 gifts of at least $50, current Director Steven Jones ’87 will give $1,500 to Wabash in support of the Turner Fund to continue their work and produce meaningful student outcomes.

To support students elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the PBK members of the Wabash staff and faculty along with Ryan Martin '01 are raising funds to cover the costs of the students' membership fees. They'll match the first $750 in dollars given to this challenge.

Since 1850, Brothers of Indiana Beta have been united in the Bond, each generation supporting the next. Today, Phis from 8 different decades issue this challenge to Phi Delt Brothers, families, and friends. When 172 unique donors give to this challenge, every member of the active chapter will join together to give $172. When we reach 200 unique donors, Jim Dyer '83, Dr. Will Fecht '93, Dustin DeNeal '04, Nick Ramsey '11, Jordan Brewer '11, Evan Griner '11, Eric Henderson '11, and Ephrem Chedid '18 will add $4,415. And when we reach 250 unique donors, Rex Henthorn '59, Larry Hutchison '63, and Dr. Brad Goff '72 will contribute $6,500. UPDATE: Joe Gracia '01 will add $5,000 when we meet our overall goal!

Mark Sutton ’92 will match gifts dollar-for-dollar from 1992 Phil Delt alumni up to $1,000.

Live Ever, Die Never! When Phi Kappa Psi Brothers, family, and friends provide their #GiantShoulders and make 142 gifts or more using the PhiPsi affinity code, Jacob Stone '17, Tony Caldwell ’07, Logan Kleiman ’18, and Mike Simmons '88 will give $2,350!

The Psychology faculty are pledging $1,000 to the Special Psychology Fund to provide #GiantShoulders and support students conducting summer research with faculty in the Psychology Department. For each of the first 100 gifts using the Psychology code, they’ll give $10.

Men Of Wabash, Nothing Breaks Us! Brad Goff '72, Emmanuel Aouad ’10, Doug Baker ’15, and Coach Rob Johnson H’77 will give $2,100 when this challenge reaches 100 gifts.

Terry Archambeault '05 will add $2 to the first 50 gifts made to this challenge as a way to celebrate Dr. Stephen Webb ’83 and Dr. Bill Placher ‘87. Some Little Giants!

In memory of Roland Morin and his #GiantShoulders that guided so many students through their years at Wabash and into their careers, Brian Mantel ’93, Jake Bolinger’14, Patrick Jones’15, Sky King’15, Seton Goddard’15, Hongli Yang’15 and Jayvis Gonsalves ’18 will give $1,991 when the Wabash community steps up with 91 gifts.

Ron Dostal '92, Marc Nichols '92, Rob Shook '83, and Jeremy Wentzel '14 are providing #GiantShoulders to support the great work of 'shOUT on campus. When this challenge reaches 90 gifts, they will give $4,500.

Sigma Chi alumni, families, and friends, you can be the #GiantShoulders for Wabash today! When this challenge reaches 50 gifts, Joel Tragesser ’94 will give $250. At 100 gifts, the Sigma Chi Housing Corp. will contribute $1,000, and Séamus Boyce will add $500. At 150 gifts, Herm Haffner '77 will add $1,000. And when we reach 200 gifts, Mike Kelley '70 will give $1,500.

For each of his pledge brothers who makes a gift today, Greg Opfel '79 will give $100, up to $1,000.

To celebrate the Little Giants' 7th straight consecutive full season with 10 wins or more, Scott Schroeder ’99, Dan Cueller ’83, Bruce McGar ’72, and Coach Chris Keller will give $10 for each gift made to this challenge.

Wabash Always Fights! The Sphinx Club will celebrate our centennial this fall, so club alumni and friends are putting $10,000 on the line. They'll give $100 for each of the first 100 gifts to this challenge.

The Walsh, Wunderlich, and Farris families are standing shoulder-to-shoulder for Wabash on 4.19. They'll give a total of $1,500 if 25 people use the St. Louis affinity code "STL" today.

We want to celebrate Coach Will Bernhardt’s honor as NCAC Men's Swimming Coach of the Year and our team’s solid performance at Conference! When this Challenge receives 25 gifts, Steve Whitaker '86, Clayton Highum ’16, and Anthony Repay ’17 will give a total of $1,200. When we reach 50 gifts, Leo Priemer ’06 will add $1,000. When we reach 75 gifts, Steve Birrer ’04 will give another $1,000. And when we reach 100 gifts, Robin and Coach Gail Pebworth H'91 will contribute $1,000.

Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Theta Delta Chi, members will give $1,000 when this challenge reaches 30 gifts, another $1,500 when we receive 60 gifts, and an additional $1,750 for 90 gifts. Ryan Clougherty ’02, Chris Huffer ’00, Todd Vogel ’04, Jacob Surface ’11, and Jim Hawksworth ’95 are proud of our TDX Charge.

Byron Lamm ’79, Bill Fell ’75, and Lee Hargitt '88 are game to support Wabash Tennis and are all set to match dollars given to this challenge up to $1,500.

Brian Bowerman '81 P'11, Coach Ryan Bowerman ’11, Billy Powers ’12, and Bruce McGar ’72 celebrate the second season of Little Giant Volleyball. They’ll match all gifts to this challenge up to $1,100.

In honor of the #GiantShoulders that support opportunities for students in Wabash Democracy & Public Discourse, Adam Burtner ’17 and Scott Dreher '82 and Aimee Cox will give $900 when this challenge reaches 49 gifts, and an anonymous donor will give an additional $5,000 when we reach 90 gifts.

Honoring the Wabash men who lived in Wolcott and Morris Halls, Michael Lambert '80 will match the first $1,000 in gifts to this challenge. 

To recognize the #GiantShoulders provided by women faculty and staff, Susan Dyer, Dr. Melissa Butler H'85, Dr. Kay Widdows H'07, Dr. Laura Wysocki, Cassie Hagan, and Susan Albrecht will match every dollar given to this challenge up to $2,075.
