About the Service Site

Founded in 1832, Wabash is a liberal arts college whose mission is to educate men to think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely. The College sits near the heart of downtown Crawfordsville, an Indiana Stellar Communities city of approximately 16,000. Crawfordsville is the Montgomery County seat and is home to several museums, the site of the Ironman motocross race, and home to Civil War general Lew Wallace, who authored Ben Hur. Shades and Turkey Run state parks are both within 30 minutes of campus and feature ravines and beautiful natural landscapes with opportunities for hiking and canoeing.
