Evansville 2013

On Sunday October 6th, from 1 - 3pm, 18 volunteers showed up at the Ronald McDonald house of Evansville eager to assist.  We were stationed inside and out and participated in a number of activities ranging from picking weeds, to trimming bushes, scrubbing toilets, sweeping, vacuuming, and cooking chili.  There were a number of families staying at the RMH so it also afforded us a good opportunity to fellowship and love on those families, as well as the RMH regular volunteers.  Additionally, there were several individuals who wanted to help but couldn't be there, so they donated much desired paper & cleaning products.

We had a number of former, current, and future Wabash students/alumni, as well as family and friends join in on the event.  I want to thank everyone who came out and made the day a success. Those in attendance were the Roop family (Brandon '06, Leah, Rick, Laura, & Lauren), David Hayhurst '83, Neal Hayhurst '21, Erin Harvey, Courtney Seitz, Kim Fellton (son class of 2015), Lisa Dunkel (son class of 2015), Mike Allen, Isaac Allen, Whitney Weir, Blake Frazier, Grant Gerling '83, Brooke Kline, & Garrett Kline.
