The Knoxville, TN Wabash Day 2013 was held at the Ronald McDonald House of Knoxville on Sunday, 10/6 from 1-4:30 pm. We had a two alumni, Jerry Blossom, ’66, and Mike Butler, ’93; and one future student, Brandon Butler, 2026. We took on a task designed for able-bodied volunteers. We treated and rotated mattresses and enclosed them in new covers to prevent unwelcomed critters from moving in. Every guest room we treated was also checked for an emergency exit sign and guest exit surveys.
This was a special day for Brandon – October 6th is his birthday and he was excited to participate in another Wabash Day on his 10th birthday.
