Name: Sherry Ross
Your background: I have always lived in Crawfordsville, graduated from Crawfordsville High School, and completed certification from the American Institute of Banking. I worked at Elston Bank & Trust Company for 20 years. I also worked there with fellow Wabash employees Jamie Ross and Alecia Franklin. I was hired to work at the College in May 2000 by Dean of Students Tom Bambrey. It has been a privilege to work for two great Wabash men – Tom Bambrey ‘68 and now Dean of Students Mike Raters ‘85. My son Derrick Stout ’94 was a Wabash FIJI. I am married to Gary Ross and we are avid sports fans. We love to attend our grandchildren’s activities and as many Wabash events as possible.
Department and specialty at Wabash: Senior Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students
Special involvement at Wabash: Honorary Sphinx Club member, Wabash Women & Student Study Bag Committee, Women on Campus, Wabash Administrative Assistants Group
Favorite part of Wabash: Proud to be part of the Wabash community and the Student Life Staff! Love working with students and those who care about our students.
Favorite place on the campus: Pioneer Chapel (Editor's note: Sheery Ross has been a Chapel Speaker!)
Favorite food: ice cream
Something most people don’t know about you: My son is a member of the Sphinx Club and my husband and I are both honorary members. Family spirit!
